“What would your final meal be?”

Most people probably put some expensive or extravagant meal for this question but I wholeheartedly mean it when i say - “Cheeseburger with fries.”
Post celiac diagnose my go to now is a lettuce wrapped cheeseburger with all the fixin’s because gluten free buns are forgettable. Either they crumble apart in your hand or are denser than a fog in the early morning. But there is something magical about Trader Joe’s GF buns that makes me think I’m almost eating a normal burger. Almost. And when I want a gooey, quick burger I make this bad boy.
Ingredient List for 1 Person:
Meat
Pack of 4 beef patties
Dairy
Bag of sliced Colby Jack cheese
Other Ingredients
Pack of 4 GF Trader Joe's buns
Worcestershire sauce
Ketchup
Spices
Salt and pepper
Optional
White onion
Season beef patties with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce on all sides
Cook beef patties to desired temperature, mine is medium rare so about three (ish) minutes on each side
Before removing patties, put slice of cheese on top then set aside
Warm bun for 15 seconds in microwave then add beef patty(s) and ketchup - bon appetit!
Side note: if you want fries, put them in oven long before you start cooking patties, they take forever.
Another side note: if you have a white onion, thinly slice a couple of pieces and cook in butter on stovetop for about five minutes then add to burger.
